Question Your Steam games on another computer

I sent a message to Steam Support, and yet got an answer, so I thought I'd try here.

I can't access my own computer at the moment, and won't be able to for a while. But I can use some one else computer. I installed Steam on this computer, and all the games that I purchased have "Install" where the "Play" button would be. So I'm wondering: can I play my purchased games on every computer I long in to with my Steam account without limit? Or is there a limit? Or maybe if I install them here, I can't play them again on my computer? How does this work?

Please, and thank you.

You can play all your games on any computer without restriction.
All you have to do is redownload all of them

Oh!

I probably won't have any of my saves, right? It's kind of a silly question....but....

As far as your save games...it depends. Some games back up game data and save games. Does anyone have a list of games that take advantage of steam cloud?

Offline Mode

How do i get my computer into off line mode? My wife has discovered that she enjoys Plants Vs Zombies, so she has to use my account on her laptop in order to play. I can play borderlands on offline mode, but in order for me to do it i need to unplug my network cable briefly as i open steam. When i do this, i get the option to go into offline mode.

My question. Is this the only way to go into offline mode? Is their an easier way to then unplug my network cable?

Launch Steam and login. Now select Steam ---> Go Offline. You're done.

opps...sorry, posted this in a thread instead of creating a new one. Should i start a new thread?

Problem is...if I don't have steam open, and wife is logged into steam, i can't start steam. Tells me that someone is already logged into the account and doesn't let me go offline mode. Only way i can is if I disconnect my network cable.

you can't connect from some PC with same login at once

try check "Don't save account credentials on this computer" will be unchecked go to online, autorize in steam update all and go offline, dissconect laptop from network, try login on your PC
