1.2.0.416 official Oblivion patch

i have tried to install one of the mod that require official oblivion mod 1.2.0.416 and noticed it does not work properly since the clothing came with the mod does not appear when wear. instead of textures, it was replaced by empty blank blackness and sometimes nothing at all.
and i tried to install the official version of the patch, so far no luck. error message say that the old file is not found, but file with same name already exist, if so, why i am having those problems with clothing?

1. It would help if you actually told us what you are trying to install.

2. a patch is not a mod. If you have the GOTY edition from Steam it is already patched to the latest officials. You still need to get the unofficial patches.

But like ITPaladin said, it would help to know what you are trying to install, could possibly be a broken mod and there is nothing you or we can do to fix it.
