Steam on PS3

I read that Steam may be coming to PS3 and I was wondering when/if implemented will PS3 games purchased already will be capable of being added to our Stream accounts and if it'll be possible to DL their computer versions by owning the PS3 copies.

Because I had purchased RUSE for the PS3 since my current computer couldn't support it but I'll be getting a new system soon and would perfer to have it on the new computer.

Sorry if there was a related thread. I did a search but couldn't find anything.

No, that will not be happening.

You will get Steamcloud and updates through Steam. That's it.

I'm not quite certain myself how exactly Valve games and Steam will be implemented on the PS3.

There was another thread about this but whatever.
Short story: Steam is NOT coming to the PS3, some of the Steamworks features are (cloud, achievements, and match-making at least).
Furthermore, only Portal 2 will have Steamworks on the PS3 and maybe more Valve games later but I doubt they will add Steamworks to non-Valve games on the PS3.

It does indeed raise some questions at least for me.

Will we be ble to communicate with our steam friends while on PS3?

Will we be downloading updates from steam servers?

Will there be dedicated servers?
