CoH wont launch on Win7

I have windows 7, 64 bit. I have CoH pack from the recent steam sale, all games are installed. I click on the Icon, and then it says Play or Register. I hit play and nothing happens.

I saw some FAQ which says to run steam as Admin. I log out and then in again (just to make sure) and then run steam as admin. I launch CoH and again, nothing happens.

Can someone help me here?

I have the same problem. Running the 'Verify Integrity of Game Cache' tool (right click on the game in steam, select properties->Local Files->Verify Integrity...) Found 20 files that needed re-downloading. It's doing that now. Hopefully when they're done the game will launch again, I'll update when I've tested it.

Update: It worked. Download took a while, but once it finished I was able to start the game as usual.

Yea something must've happened, I haven't played since the last patch out and playing Company of Heroes Online made me want to go back and play some British and Panzer Elite. I had 21 files needing a re-download then it worked.

I have windows 7 64 bit too and CoH:Gold runs just fine for me?

I'm having problems where as soon as I click on options it will crashes...i can play but at default settings... also I'm using windows 7 64bit.

Verify CoH's cache. It helped my launch problems.

Right click on game's name -> Propeties -> Local files Tab -> Verify Game Cache

I had the exact problem.

I run CoH on Windows 7 64-bit.

Bought the CoH suite via the Steam deal, downloaded and played, everything was fine. Turn off the PC and start up the next day, game won't launch no matter what I do.

Choose the repair cache option, precisely 21 files damaged. Download those 21 files again, game runs fine as ever.

Strange, but I hope it helps you to get the game running again.
