Is it just me? Or is hard mode REALLY hard?

I played and beat this game on the Xbox 360 on medium difficulty. I decided to up the difficulty for my first playthrough on the PC version.

I can't even get through the first 2 waves of henchmen at the beginning of the game. Wow! Is it really that hard or am I just a wussie?

I restarted the game on medium and it's too easy! I think I will give it a few more tries on hard.

Did anyone else have the same experience?

Try a different tactic. If the guys are walking around - take them down quickly. If it's the beginning section, then you might need to know the list of moves available to you at that time and get Batman to move accordingly. I'm yet to play on hard anyway.

If you aren't doing too well, try something new

Wow - It's gotten a lot easier. Can you believe that the whole time I was playing on the Xbox throughout the whole game, I never knew the effective way to stack combo moves. By pointing the camera at the enemy and pressing the attack button even if they are far away from me. I don't know how I could have missed that.

With the mouse you have better accuracy. 'nuff said

Try playing the game on the hardest level ON THE PC, and wait 'til you get to level where you have to defeat Poison Ivy! OMG! The way you have to move left and right, backwards and forwards, is extremely DIFFICULT. It's not the normal way when you're moving around in general during the game. I don't know how many hours it took me to defeat that b****!

And it's 4 levels before you beat her, so prepare to get squeezed to death by her many times.

For me, hard mode was actually quite easy, the few times i died, was because i was trying "stunts" with the blackguards and such (trying to kill them in awkward ways), or because of some glitches.

^ And to the guy above: Poison Ivy was pathetic, so easy (perhaps i'm used to those fights.. idk.. i felt it it was easy).

Took me a little bit to get used to but I pretty much know when a henchman is attacking me without the little indicator.

beat the game on hard
took around 14 hours, including exploring, wasn't rushing
i think i had 16 hours or so when i stopped, maybe 18

only found 1 or two parts pretty challenging

Hard wasn't too bad, but you do have to slow down and take your time. I noticed that it is easier for them to spot you on hard and getting away once they do is damn near impossible. As for Ivy? I beat her on the first run, but I did only have one notch of health left. Talk about a heart pounding moment

Sorry, youre a ♥♥♥♥♥. I am NOT trying to brag, but I was actually having a browse on here to see if anyone else found hard too easy.
All you have to do is keep an eye on the goons, they give you loads of warning when they are starting to strike (like pulling their arms back really reall slowly, for one thing), and you then just press the counter button (Y on xbox controller), and you block them.
Try just standing and watching them, wait for them to start their strikes. I ALWAYS wait and counter, rather than take the fight to them, I find it much easier. Unless I have snuck up on someone and can take them out in one hit.
When you counter, you tend to use better moves, and dont have to worry about going in the wrong direction.
But as I said, try standing in the middle of them for a bit and watching them, you will soon get used to them and you will be taking on the rooms full of goons later in the game with ease, trust me.

I've learned over the years, if you're gonna play a game, play it. There shouldn't even be difficulty levels, it should just be insanely hard, because having rules and crushing through those rules is what makes games fun right down to playing Uno with your cousins who "just want to have fun" not actually play a game. Crank it to the max every time!...
