Help with HL2 demo. :(

It was downloading till it got to 251 MB it says suspended and every time I try to unpause it goes back to suspended.

To be honest OP, I don't even know if we have a HL2 demo that works any more since the engine update. If not they need to pull the demo until they have replaced it.

You can try restarting Steam.
You can try exiting Steam first and then deleting or renaming the ClientRegistry.blob file. Then restarting steam.
You can try changing your download region.

HL2 demo is broke. Just buy the game, you will not be disappointed.

It started downloading again? (Sometimes it does that.)

Actually, now I remember that someone just did play through the demo just fine, and then bought tOB, or something.
