Online multiplayer possible?

I know that the game has Hot-Seat multiplayer but I wonder if developing an online multiplayer for it is ever possible? Since hot-seat doesn't really help me much.

I guess we're back in the 90s. Hotseat multiplayer is useless.

Personally, I'm glad to have hotseat multiplayer. It's a major purchase factor for me. I wish it had both, though, for all the other people who want online.

Hotseat multiplayer isn't useless, it's just that it only works when you've got a bunch of friends over at your house.

You mean... like... physically? But... Internet...

No really, Hotseat is nice. But honestly, if I have two or more friends over I'd rather play or do something not computer related.

I'd really like to try this game with three real opponents, but there's no way I'd cram four people in front of one computer

Yep. Your best bet would be using a 360 controller on the PC, and passing the controller to the turn's player. Bit easier than shuffling who's sitting in front of the keyboard and mouse.

I think, for this game the controller is unnecessary. With keyboard and mouse the game controlling is much easier.
In multi maybe useful.

HotSeat : Players are in the same room.

It can be okay when you have time to have peoples come to your place, but it is pretty hard and rare when your friends and yourself work, goes to college or live in another city, or country.

Controller might be more useful than keyboard and mouse, because the demo I tried controls were a bit annoyingly changing for camera use. Disabling the arrow keys for camera movement when you select a dwarf.

Its not like you always, have other ppl to play with you in the same room.

And hotseat is not a multiplayer...
