Audio Problem

Anyone have any problems with the audio. More specifically the engine noise is not matching up with the what is seen on screen. There is a slight delay with the engine noise (making it really feel disconnected) and yet the rumble strips and other ambient noises are perfectly timed. Just the engine noise.

I've tried both Raptor and software audio with the same results. I've also put graphics way down just to see what would happen, and same result. Engine audio is off.

Any help appreciated.

I have no speech audio in game and the engine sounds are a bit delayed. I only have the raptor and software options, with raptor on i get no speech sounds, with software on i get no engine sounds.

I think the people with software/raptor have intergrated sound cards like Realtek or simular yea? And hardware can only be used with dedicated sound cards?

I am getting MAJOR sound echos and delays, and I am also on realtek integrated. Never had a problem with my sound b4 in any game.

Any fixes for this?

Seems its only us guys having the problem.... but I suppose its one of the most popular onboard sound manufacturers...

I'm having some audio delay issues too, but no crackling. I've got a creative something-or-other 7.1 sound card in my machine, but it only gives the Raptor/Software options as well.

Can someone use Fraps and record the noise on the straights at full speed on a straight?

Mine sounds like people playing vuvuzelas on a trampoline

Ya but only software can be selected, and integrated is being used, so that doesn't explain the problem. We can't even select hardware.
