Announcement popus should not steal focus

Scenario: Steam is running and minimized to Notification Area. I'm playing some non-Steam game, such as World of Warcraft. I receive a Steam group announcement popup which steals focus. This forces my current app to the background, which in the case of many games means minimizing the game. This is incredibly obnoxious and extremely poor application behavior.

Please make this not happen, thanks.

I made a topic about this last month, but it was apparently deleted in a server DB hiccup or something.

Also, some games HATE to be minimized.

Just to add to this, when signing into Steam the window it opens immediately steals focus from whatever else you may have been doing while it was signing in.
