another gem is The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom.
not really 2.5, more pure 2d. you clone your character multiple times through a record function to solve puzzles. plays good with keyboard or controller. sometimes really hard, i had to watch youtube-videos for some levels. unique game-idea, strange b/w style. i love it. |

Surprising that no one has mentioned Sonic Generations. Some of its gameplay is 3D, but at least 2/3 of it is 2.5D. It has some tough system requirements, but if your PC can handle it, it's a crazy, frantic, and unique platforming experience.

Thanks for the list, I'll have to check these out. I really loved Blade Kitten, though the game felt to short. I hope they release chapter 2 on PC.
Trine 2 looked good, I will really have to get that.
