My Steam account was stolen. What can I do?

yesterday I received a message from suport@steampowered.com : "This email message confirms that your Steam account contact email address has been successfully changed." but i don't authorized this change, so I followed the steps that was mentioned in that email. I wrote a message to the steam suport but no answer. What can I do in this situation?

Wait for support to get back to you, it will take 3-5 days for them to reply usually.

And this is why ppl should verify there account with you're e-mail.

Omg..5 days? In this time, this mtf jerk can use many cheats, and I lose my account. A very good business. I pay to protect bastards. If my account is banned in these 5 fives, I have to buy another cd-key, and business go one. and this is how some get richer. 10 from me, 10 from you (euro),...
million business.

You can't really blame Steam if you didn't verify your email

1. Because you didn't protect your username and password well enough.

2. Because you didn't verify your email address in steam, thereby letting anyone change it without further authorization from you.

They can only change your email address if they first had your username and password. For that you either gave that to them, typed them into a fake website or downloaded a keylogger. None of those are Valve's fault, all yours.

Second if you had verified your email address then it couldn't have been changed unless you were stupid enough to have the same password for both.

Contact support regarding the issue, if it's something you didn't authorize, then your account may have been stolen.

Please follow these steps, and read the FAQ for any follow-up information.
