So basically the game doesn't work properly

Am I right in concluding that from reading these forums? Seems to be a whole heap of problems.

Seems to work properly when it's up and running. Seems to be a little work to get it running, but not that much trouble. In most games I need to change my controller-settings and stuff, that takes me longer than it were getting this game up and running.

I don't think you read them fully then. Most of the threads suggest fixes that haven't received complaints. Mostly, disable the Steam Overlay for the game.

Also, keep in mind that any game-specific forum is rarely a place of real discussion; it's where people go when the crap has hit the fan, or when they want to praise the game. You can't take a forum as being the whole community.

He's just comparing the amount of time it takes to get this game running at all to the amount of time he spends getting controllers properly setup in other games.

In other words, while it takes some time to get working, it's do-able and doesn't take long.

For D3, yes. If you want real details on the bugs of the game, check out the D3 forum on the official disciples site.

However, I strongly recommend D2.

Well, maybe. But its easier to find people on game specific forums, rather than any old forums. Im not sure if your speaking for just STEAM or actual game site forums. Best place for questions is at the game developers support forums.
