I just finished the downloading it then when the loading screen appears some pop-up appears with text saying,"CustomCommand.dll" I click 'OK' then another pop-up text says,"CustomValueOperator.dll" but it won't show up (I have Windows 7 so I can still preview it and since it won't so up I can't click OK so instead I click the X). Another Text Pops up saying,"MWDRCC.dll" followed by,"CoreRef.dll" and then,"Tried to initalize a channel that does NOT exist with guid:" after this some code comes up,"34B011DC-643D-4244-A707-71FB7AE9F1AB" Says the channel thing again, followed by the same code. Eventually if you click those out a copple times another code comes up but with all the numbers replaced with zeros. It just repeats things.
I don't know what to do Please help me with this random error before I lose my mind trying to think about it myself ![]() Thanks for your understanding and taking your time reading this. |

I was having this exact problem, I ended up: 1. un-installing the game from Steam (delete local content) then 2. manually deleting the SSE folder from my Documents, then 3. close down Steam, 4. restart Steam and reinstall SSE. For whatever reason that made it work ok for me now, hope this helps. |

The messages appear to be debugging notes, that is, it is telling the developer which 'dll' is to be loaded next so that they can determine which one is causing a problem.
I have an nvidia card and I also received the messages. I just kept pressing 'enter'. It took about three minutes. I can't believe the lack of performance though. I can't even get the 'control' menu to respond in less than geological time. I also can't set the 'alternate' key for a control. I feel that this demo version is a pre-pre-release. Both my processors are only running 50% and it has only used an extra 1g of memory and at the lowest setting it runs slower than my old Apple IIe running Flight Simulator. I am thankful that I only downloaded the demo version and I hope that in the next week or two another version will be available. |
