Edit: I should clarify: As long as it's a disc check that doesn't actually check/install anything I can add it to Inert. If it actually checks the game integrity or something like that it has to stay where it is, but I can add a note explaining what it's really doing.

I'm not sure how to check that... Ideas?

Dumb question just for closure: Does it actually ask for a CD key in-game or during the installation process? Just checking before I fix it on the list.

Nothing. Just goes straight to the game just like a regular "bought from Steam" game does. No questions asked.

I think CP has been removed, but I am thinking that ProtectionID might need updating too (6.4.0 is so last year ) - referring to the "or is using an unknown protection" in the log. FADE would be pointless with an electronically distributed product anyway I guess.

Looking at the BI site for ARMA-2 suggests that those who have legitimate installs would have had DRM removed with patch v1.05. The actual line reads: "DRM free for users of legitimate installs" in the "Version 1.05 Highlights" section.

Seeing as Steam is up to v1.09, I would assume that DRM has actually been removed from Steam distributions.

i already wrote the SECUROM was removed for all 3 titles
ARMA, ARMA 2, ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead quite long time ago (N patches)
