I NEED HELP!!! Could someone please reply?

If someone could please help, I am stuck. I am new at this and I am not getting any answers to my questions. I seem to be unable to advance, and just bowling with the same people all the time is getting boring. I have not yet been able to get off world to play some of the other worlds. I have asked, but nobody will tell me, how many times do you have to bowl to constitute a game? I have now bowled with both Max and John 17 time each, and have not gotten an achievement. Am I doing something wrong? Please somebody reply. Thanks.
