Thumbs down No customizable controls

Are you serious, in 2010? As a left handed player, I prefer using ijkl instead of wasd, and usually this is possible in any game I try...

they're pretty basic and straight forward controls anyways, i mean i do agree that it should have customizable controls, but it's not that hard to get use to

As I said, I'm lefthanded and have my mouse in the left hand, laying right before the wsad keys on the keyboard. I could make a little bit room by pushing the keyboard to the right, but it's still uncomfortable.

This game compatible with a 360 controller? if not, any plans to make it so?

Hi Roman,

I feel your pain... literally. As a Lefty Gamer remapping is absolutely required. What the developers overlook or let ride until an update can be very quickly and easily (and oft-times better) fixed with AutoHotKey, the free macro utility.

For your navigation key remapping, it's as easy as:
; Some Handy keys remapped
w::i
a::j
s::k
d::l

Make a tiny file with the above in it, execute the script before launching the game (say, by double-clicking a AHK shortcut you keep next to your game icon on your desktop), and wham-o! You're Pounding Ground with ijkl ASAP!

Fast and easy key remapping is only the most basic and useful feature of this great free product. You will be amazed what you can do with this tool added to your Lefty Toolkit.

In-game most often as 'Jambo'

Well that's a shame, the game itself is good so far... But I would have thougt it was a standard feature...

I'm a lefty too, and afaik, the only other games that had crappy controls for us is Dead Space and Jericho (for the qte)

I gess I'm back to glovepie again...

For those who use it you should make your own wasd script that you can use to fix most left handed unfriendly games...

[CODE]/* Key bindings - Force use of numpad */
Key.W = Keyboard.NUMPAD8
Key.A = Keyboard.NUMPAD4
Key.S = Keyboard.NUMPAD2
Key.D = Keyboard.NUMPAD6
Key.E = Keyboard.Divide

Hope there will be an update for this...

Thanks for the fun game, though...

There is also possibility to remap controls in engine: start the game with -options parameter and click on Settings button in the Controller area.

Unfortunately, this works only on XP or older systems. Microsoft dropped support for direct input remapping in Vista and 7.

Okay guys, we are considering adding the controls remapping now. But first we would like to add quick fix for the left handed players. Are you guys okay with IJKL, so checkbox with this remapping would suffice for a while, until the full remapping will roll out?

Yes the dialog is very confusing, maybe that's why microsoft got rid of it in later versions of windows

But it's definitely working, I just checked it. You must press the key (you want to map to some action) TWICE (swiftly), then the list in available actions will highlight and you can map action to the pressed button by clicking on one of the available actions.

At least for me, that'd be a satisfying solution. Can't speak for the others, though.
