Taking advantage of weekend skill cap/green drops

I'm looking to take full advantage of the weekend event starting 12/11/2010. Green drops are more likely with a full party of humans as opposed to a party of NPC's, so a full party capping elites would be great.

I personally need to capture elites for the original classes, except Elementalist -- that means most elites from the Warrior, Mesmer, Ranger, Monk, and Necromancer professions.

If you're interested in partying up, add me in GW friends and keep an eye out for when I'm online. My character name is Willie Lumpkin.

As a side note, I run a small Luxon guild looking to create or join a casual alliance to do PvE and HoM stuff. Contact me by PM or in game if you're interested.

I believe the drops scale with party size, but not beyond that. So really if you get double drops with 2 people, then its the same amount for you if you were running with H/Hs, you just don't see the drop that would be destined to an NPC.
The capping spree is fun though... Sorry, but I already capped everything (way before HoM came out), so not going to join.
As a side note though, why wouldn't your small guild help you?

The drop rate isn't affected, but if the drop is given to an NPC, then no one gets it.

My small guild won't help because there are two active members: me and a friend who just got to Lion's Arch.

Don't get the non-American users upset.

They use their own date format.

It's Friday, November 12th 2010 for Americans.

what time are you looking at being online? I need to cap some skills, mostly in factions and Nightfall though.

I want to get all elites of the primary profession with all my 10 characters...
Let's see... my elementalist has all 1319 skills... all of them. Hehe...

Warrior... all elites capped...
Ranger... 16 elites left.
Monk... all capped.
Necromancer... all capped.
Mesmer... all capped.
Assassin... all capped.
Ritualist... 4 elites left.
Paragon... 10 elites left...
Dervish... 6 elites left.

That makes... 36 elites left to get.

I suppose I'll be getting those with any guildies that want to come with me, around 15:00~21:00 UTC+1.

Which is my point: you gain nothing (in terms of drops) from going with people.

YOU might not gain anything, but at least someone does, as opposed to no one.

And if they don't want it, well, maybe you do.

Tense much? All I'm saying is that if you expecting better drops with people, then you are out of luck. Take it or leave it. No need to prove me you know your game, as I hardly care.

Note, some people don't play in the "It's all about me" mode.

Some people play the game and share things they get sometimes when they have no use for it.

Using henchmen or heroes can cause a drop someone may want, to be taken by that henchman or hero.

Sometimes it's a "group" effort.
