wallace & gromit episode 1 won't launch

Has anyone had a problem launching Wallace & Grommit lately? I was able to run it on the same machine earlier. But I haven't played it since the new client refresh. I wonder if the new client refresh or one of the subsequent steam updates had broken my ability to launch this game?

I tried the validate file. Then I uninstalled/installed. Neither option work.

I noticed that all episodes aren't launching for me. But other tell-tale episodic games are launching fine.

Hello, i got the same problem, downloaded and installed the game, verified the files, nothing happens, not even an error popup.

Hi i got a solution from one of the telltale forum admins. Basically you have to deinstall LUA (scripting language package) and reboot, at least thats what fixed it for me.
