Black Ops not saving weapons

So I'm on 3rd prestige, when I hit level 14 I go right for the OP Famas, but every time I buy it, esc back out(waiting for it to download and fetch) it refunds my CoD points and puts w/e weapon I had before I bought the Famas back in the primary slot.

I've reinstalled, verified cache, waited for it to download and fetch after I esc back to the class menu, buy, buy and equip, chance class name, used a different class, bought other assault rifles, etc etc. I can't think of anything else.

Anyone know of a fix or hear of someone fixing this in the past?

many people had this problem including me.i can buy stuff equip it but the loadout reverts back to the origional one, weapons not equipped or purchaced.i cannot even reset it to default.

Instead of backing out with the ESC key, click your mouse pointer on the on-screen BACK button. I have noticed that helps make things "stay" rather than get reverted

I lost $5,000 because of that bug LOL. Took me 3 tries to get back the sensor upgrade I'd purchased (worthless, turns out).

it's a server bug, i am absolutely sure, and i have no idea how long it will take to get fixed. i'm not even gonna bother to play till it does

Ive tried this :P no luck

Ive done just about everything I could think of.

The odd thing is, this happened on my second prestige too, but fixed itself in a matter of minutes.

Have same issue, if i try change class before i play a game it does exactly what yours does. Funny enough if i play a game and exit during the game i can buy whatever i want and it keeps it

bad server bug that has to get fixed

if you still have the weapons, it's a different issue. loadouts not saving is due to config_mp.cfg being read only. if you DONT have the weapons, yeah this is the same bug and it sucks and i hate it

No, all changes made are refunded, guns say that they have not been purchased and your credits are given back to you.

I had a similar problem that doesn't seem to have happened in awhile. You're lucky it refunded the points for you, I lost mine.

I had the same problem before 10-12 hours.

It was for 1-1,5 hours and then managed to make my classes. Maybe you have to waiting, as i did. go to play some games and tried again.

I have played games.

It started at level 14 and I'm level 25 now...still not working.

I found a temporary solution to this problem.

Instead of choosing Buy and Equip, I just chose Buy, then went back to the main menu for it to retrieve server data.

Now when you go back, your guns should have been registered as purchased
