xBox controller for PC Layout Wrong

Hey,

I bought conviction through steam, and I'm using a wired xbox controller (which has worked well with several other games). When I select "use controller" from the options, I can use it but the layout is WAYYYYYY wrong.

X is B, Select is the Left Trigger, so on and so forth.

Whats up with that?! and can I fix it?

Ok I installed the latest driver version, didn't fix anything. This is really stupid.

Also I tried to modify the ProfileDefaultsPC file to reconfigure the KT_X360 mappings, but it doesn't seem to do anything. I save the file, and start the game but its still messed up.

is there a way to tell what version of the game I'm running? I would assume steam would have the latest version for download, but who knows.

yea im having exactly the same issue , ?? .. its wierd shooting ur gun with START button ! o0
