Anyone knows how the leaderboards works?

I was looking and the first places have a Zero value, and then it starts to increase, how did the game computes those points?

Total time taken to complete a level, I'm guessing. Though that would make all the 0 placeholders a bit puzzling if they weren't either exploiting a bug or part of a playtesting phase and using an alpha build or something.
