Give us the manufacturer name, I assume is MSI, and model # of the board. Is this a pre-built like a Dell or HP?

You can use CPU-Z to helf find out.

The model should be located somewhere on the machine with a sticker, which has the computer's name + model# on it.

The Motherboard in your machine is a Socket 775.

To any other geeks who want the Motherboard info:

What's your price range you're looking at for a new CPU?

According to the site the Duo E7xxx is supported, what processor do you have now?

If you upgrade your motherboard to get a quad $370 will certainly be enough, but your version of Windows will probably be invalidated.

Full versions of Windows may legally be installed on one PC at a time, but OEM versions of Windows may only be installed on one motherboard.

A lot of prebuilt computers ship with an OEM version of Windows, this is likely the case with you.

You may have to factor a copy of Windows into the price.
