Didn't try it, but it looks like an improved version of TTG's adventures. Less adventures, more puzzles.

I've already played the whole series on the PS3 (which was released ages ago). It's a pretty good game with a well written storyline, highly recommended if you like Puzzle Agent or Professor Layton.

It's indeed quite similar to Puzzle Agent but with better graphics, but the puzzles are a bit easier. Some of them have been done dozens of time before in casual games, others are original.

The narrator takes some time to get used to

played the demo and it was incredibly boring. No satisfaction in the end either. Puzzles were very simplistic. If you want a go, try the demo first, but it really isn't anything special.

Just played through the demo, which was a bit slow paced and the puzzles were for the most part simple, but the story is interesting enough and it was fun. I think the sale price at $3 is much more worth it for this than it's regular price of $20.

Does anybody know if the $3 price is just for today, i.e. it ends at 1pm EST time 12/26/2010 or if it's going to be $3 for the entirety of the sale (until 1/2)?

I love the game, especially in coop-mode. And I can confirm the similarities with Puzzle Agent, which is also great. Both games combine various types of puzzles with a detective/thriller story, which is more of a traditional kind in BTMF. Also, the humour in the game is very great and the voices are just perfect. By the way, did you know that it's only one guy who voiced all the characters?

I really like the game. Ive been playing with my girlfriend and she absolutely loves it. The game could technically be alot better with improved graphics and so on but for me its more about the setting and atmosphere. I love this cartoonish take on the english culture so for me its a perfect fit .I think the puzzles while not being great all the time were above and beyond the average quality of this genre.

If the demo made you ecstatic and it's on a >50% off sale then get it, if you had doubts with the demo but thought it OK then do not buy it.

I just finished the game. It was a lot of fun, and I loved the humor and the plot. I'd give it a 8/10.

Its a mystery game where you have to find out who killed who using clues to interrogate the 4 suspects. I only played episode 1, but some of the puzzles are unrealated to the finding out of the crime, which I think is another way to extend the longetivity of the game. I think it's an alright game, but it will drag on.
