hey guys, i'm getting this issue around 90% of the game i play this game. basically, 50% of the textures are completely black and its just hard to play.

Did you try fiddling with your Shader settings under Video Options? I have seen this before as well, but it was because I had it on the wrong setting. I would try both going up a setting as well as down a setting.

Have you turned off Texture streaming in the config files? had the exact same issue and it was due to texture streaming being off.

setting the shader to 3 fixes the issue, but makes the game run really slow.

What GFX card are you running?

This is probably too late to help, but just go to properties->local files->verify integrity of game cache.
