Talking Different Voices?!

It would be nice to have different voices for each character that I choose. For example, when playing with the black character I hear black man's voice. Does anyone agree? Are they going to ever going to put this in the game?

I'd like more different voices but not model-specifc. Instead, it should assign a sound bench randomly when you join a game and keep the sound bench til you leave.

A user selectable voice pack would be awsome. Then you could choose that along with your skin

I would definitely buy a voice pack for the characters if it became available. I think you would bring a lot of variety to the game. It's just really annoying to hear one voice right now for our all the characters in the game. Would tripwire ever consider doing this?

What is there to explain? On average, the voice of a black person, is audibly different from that of a white person. Same goes for every other race.

He's saying that he doesn't want ALL of his characters to sound like they are the same race when clearly, some are not.

You can't really say that. Skin colour and race don't dictate accent; while it's more common for someone from cirtain culture to have a cirtain accent, it's more to do with where you're brought up.

Case in point: someone of Asian descent was born in Scotland, and ended up sounding more Scottish than me.

Oh, yeah, I'd like different voices though.

I don't think he's meaning the accent.

Or, to save on recording, allow you to record your own voice packs to use.
Also, Black people DO tend to have deeper, gruffer voices, and you'll notice when one is speaking in a clearly white voice, British or not.

The server would have to load it and they would have to script a program to make sure you're saying the lines and not just cussing as we know a lot would. c.c;
and if going to that much trouble why not just press the mic button?

They could always hold a contest where people record sets of lines from the game and the winners (judged on clarity, appropriateness, personality, etc) get put in the game and everyone who enters a proper entry gets... a character like Jules >.>
