Concidering buying a laptop on NewEgg, and I could use a second opinion...

I bought an ASUS laptop a few years back from NewEgg, and I was rather impressed with it. I have been shopping around for a new one, and I came across the K52 one for a decent price. But I am not sure if I should buy it or not. The price seems like it is a bargain for what I would be getting with the laptop, but I would like to hear some other opinions on the topic before I buy it. Has anyone here had a laptop that used the 310M or the Intel HD GPU? If so, how do they handle performance wise?

That 310M is nothing special, but it's not too shabby for the price.

What games do you plan on playing?

Source games will be fine on Med/High.

This laptop will play Source games on high and CS:Source with about 21 bots without lag. $745.47 with better specs.

I have same laptop as this one except mine has the older GeForce GT330 1GB GDDR3 instead of the GeForce GT425 1GB GDDR3. The only different is that the GT425 supports Direct X 11.

Nothing to modern really. I have a fairly powerful desktop, this laptop will only be meant for travel purposes, and for on the go gaming. Probably the most graphically demanding game I would conceder playing on it would be either The Witcher, or the Stalker games.
