description in store

"...using simple, proven rock-paper-scissors principles..."

Am I the only one that doesn't understand why a publisher would actually advertise this about a game? I see that and my eyes immediately glaze over and pretty much ignore anything else about the description. Why would I want a game that uses simple rock-paper-scissors principles? Why not just play rock-paper-scissors?

That said, is this game better than that description would indicate?

Yes, I think you are. The meaning is, there is no "tank-rush", no one-super-unit which kills all.
There are many games who do not have these principles and which suck when it goes to multiplayer, because it just makes no sense in these games to have mixed units.
