Hearts of iron 3 Semper Fi - checksum

I recently bought a game for 20 euro's.

I want to play with a friend. But no i can't because we got diffrent checksums.

First of all the idea must be atleast to even think that checksums should be added, but the thing is.

You change checksum everytime you "Resign" in-game. (BROKEN) obviously.

The thing i want to do here is just point out that this needs to be fixed for anyone to even enjoy this game.

Feels bad that they tricked me on 20 euros for nothing..

Anyone got a work around or something? Trying to get from HOVH to RNGL!

Patch 2.0.3B

The checksum is there to prevent cheating in multiplayer. It ensures that you both run the same version of the game, unaltered.
RNGL is the one you should have, so try to right click the game in steam, choose properties, local files and then verify the integrity of the game cache.

Tried that, it resets to HOVH instead of RNGL, even reinstalled the game 2 times verified atleast 10 times.

What else is there to do because obviously its not supposed to be like this?

Did i just buy a game that ain't finished ?
