HELP | game wont start !

i have a "BLACK SCREEN" problem

when i run the game its not responding..

I get the same problem.
Tried full screen and windowed in multiple graphics quality settings to no change.

I am using an ATI card.

EDIT: Verifying game files seemed to fix it.
