Civ 5, how to change game's language?

So, I bought the game, but somehow my my crappy PC cant read the DVD. Well, i just downloaded the game from steam so it wasn't a major problem.

But the thing is, when I play with russian folks out there, the game just can't read russian letters. It only show empty spaces, so it's kinda hard to chat with russian guys.

Actually, I'm perfectly fine with english version of the game. Maybe there is a way to "teach" the game to understand russian characters? If no, how can I change the game's language then? I feel that this is the problem here.
