It worths to purchase Zero Gear yet?

I just saw the discount on Zero Gear and would like to know your opinions. It worths to purchase the game yet? Its multiplayer has many players, etc?

Well, the multiplayer is dead and a lot of people complained about laggy servers or was it delayed controls?

Don't waste your money on this. The game is fun and all but the developers abandoned the game and the multiplayer is dead and has been dead all year.

Avoid like the plague. The developers don't even list this game on their website. They didn't support it post-launch and, because of this, the game bombed. Hard.

sad I figured I would look to see if anyone played this before considering getting it because when they had the free weekend it was fun.

If you buy it, you should buy the game with a four, three friends, so you are sure you'll have someone to play with. The more people there is, the funnier it gets. Even if it was abandoned, it's a really funny game to play on LAN, or vocal WAN.

I bought Zero Gear for myself and a bunch of my friends and it's a blast. It's well worth $2.50 and I would even pay the regular $10 for it. It may be abandoned but it's still a solid game and a blast to play with friends.

For the odd person or two who have a check on these forums to see if the game is worth buying or not: don't bother, no matter how cheap the game is. No-one plays the game, I tried to have a game there and there was a total of about 8-9 players. The developers have abandoned this game and the players followed not too long after, good little game but this game was its best when there were lots of servers and lots of players in each server to have some fun with.

Shame the devs abandoned this game completely instead of trying to get people playing their game. I heard they claimed it wasn't financially viable for them to keep supporting this game but they only ever tried getting attention for it once or twice via a free weekend and the odd sale. You can get word out about your game and gather a lot of interest for free with a little time and effort put in. Sad to see they didn't even try this and instead just let their game die without even so much as releasing the SDK to allow the community to support the game itself.

It's not worth it to spend $10 on this game as it's currently abandoned. As said on the Potential topic:

If you can host your own server and have a few friends to play with (4-pack is great), I'd say it's seriously worth it. I've played Zero Gear for over 37 hours with my friends, lots of fun for while it lasted and it was cheap anyway.

Yeah, I've played the beta before it was released, lots of people were playing back then. I remember it being lots of fun, too bad it was abandoned so fast.
