"DES-Studio" is glad to introduce their creation - X3: Time Of The Truth. A global modification with lots of new features, including the main plot for Julian Brennan. Find out where the truth is or just devastate the X-universe, playing as a xenon - it's up to you! The “Industrial complex core” is a special one, acting as a basis of xenon industrial complexes; - the Yaki equipment dock was added and filled with different goods and equipment, including those that are illegal among a lot of races; - "big shipyards" were added with a docking places for М0-ships. ECONOMICS: The several races’ economics was changed: - new xenon economics; - new Yaki economics; - new Ancients economics; An extended choice of goods at some stations; An extended choice of ships and stations at the Yaki Shipyard. MUSIC: Over 30 tracks were composed just for the add-on. CORRECTION AND IMPROVEMENT: - all the weapon and missile forges (except terrain and xenon) were added with nividium - a secondary resource, which fastens the production process; - the equipping of combat NPC, including pirates, khaaks and xenons was improved (100%, except for morale); - the equipping of freigters was improved (100% - except for lasers, morale, combat experience); - the complexity of combat and race ratings’ improvement was increased; - some mod-bugs, that had appeared during some original missions’ execution were fixed; - now the ratings are indicated in the buy/sale windows at the xenon and Yaki stations; - khaak big-ships are allowed to be boarded now; - saving the game during boarding process is not allowed anymore and this is sounded by the on-board computer; - the races’ rating are now indicated in the encyclopaedia; - docking computer’s range in the sector of Earth was increased; - the number of the galaxy’s NPC was balanced, weapon effects were improved; - new load-screens were added; - pirates’ number and aggression was increased; - pirates’ and Yaki patrols were added and enhanced; - the number and aggression of Xenons and Khaaks was increased; - boarding process was complicated; - patrols were improved; - player’s profit was reduced; - different original missions’ rewards were reduced; - player’s Headquarters and the Xenon Hub were improved; - the colored indication of the Xenon, Khaak, Yaki, Pirates, Ancients rating was added to player’s statistics; - the main races ratings’ colored numerical indication was added; - a Core of Industrial Complex was remodeled; - the xenon industry was changed; - a lot of errors and bugs, that had been found in the previous mod’s versions, were fixed; - a new docking place for big-ships was added to player’s complexes (the error was fixed); - Incendiary Bomb Launcher’s effect was changed. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Installation: - install X3 Terran Conflict (with no outside scripts and mods) and patch it up to version 3.1; - run setup; - indicate (if necessary) a path to the folder with the game of 3.1 version installed. Indeed. Not sure why you'd want to improve the parameters of the Point Singularity Projector though. Just a single charged barrage from the broadside of a Tyr will nearly destroy a Xenon K as it is, even from an Osaka it will still pretty well cripple the ship.

I don't know if I would recommend any mod beyond the 'Egosoft approved' ones to a new player. A big mod like this pretty much cuts you out of a lot of the player community and Egosoft's tech support. They are superb for second playthroughs, though. (DDTC is another massive mod.)

0.4 – 1.0 change list - fixed errors found; - an opportunity of space fogs removal added. To activate this option, you should click “Choose mod” in the game’s start menu, then choose "No_fogs" and press "ОК"; - the mini-plot of “Enhancement of the Yaki: Extension” added. Now you have an alternative way of getting the HQ. Also Trade Bases were added at one of the Yaki shipyards – these stations allow capturing different races’ sectors. This option appears after you purchase the “Salvage Spur” sector. - the “Time of the Truth” plot’s Head-hunters were enhanced; - the “Xenon invasions” were changed and fixed; - the Yaki repair lasers forge was added; - TS-class ships were rebalanced; - the “CPU: Far reconnaissance” mini-plot was added. Its aim is to find the Aldrin and Terran sectors, and connect them with the xenon ones. It activates after you finish the “CPU: Evolution” plot and forward the data to the xenons. - the opportunity of taking combat missions on the “The new-built” and the “Xenon-invader” game starts from the races was added; - the “Plutarch vs. NMMC” plot’s activation conditions were changed. Now your reputation among the argons and the teladi should be within +2 ( 98% ). X3: Time Of The Truth v1.1 released!
1.0 – 1.1 change list: - the mod was adjusted to 3.1 game's version; - previously found errors were fixed; - sectors’ names were colored; - some performance increasing changes were made; - the ships of M8 class were changed: they act as assault ships from now on; - the new pirate boarding corvette of "Clipper", being able to contain 30 marines, was added; - a player’s game achievements rewarding system was added; - SETA’s automatic shutdown while menu-navigating via keyboard was disabled; - the Neptune sector’s gates, which appear after the Oldrin plot or the “CPU: Far reconnaissance” plot were fixed; - all the plot-stations were fixed: after any plot’s finishing, its quest stations become “mortal”; - oldrin traders were fixed; - after a ship’s capturing, its cargo-bay’s upgrade remains unchanged; - a game difficulty levels were added.
