Punkbuster kick.

Okay, so I got Farcry 2 while it was on sale last week and i tried to play some online and i get kicked because of a driver failure.
Saying it can't communicate with my punkbuster...
So i went to PBSETUP and manually installed Punk buster and Far Cry 2 isn't in the games list of games to update....
Help. please.

Aslo, have tried running as Admin and in the XP compatibility packs.

I don't think punkbuster supports this game anymore.

Use this to update any games you have that support PB

Simply stick in a folder; like C:\PunkBuster (or anywhere you wish), then run pbsetup.exe (as ADMIN)

Add games from the list you have installed. Once the game is added, click update to download the most recent PB files for all the games now added to your list. This updater will put the downloaded PB files in the correct folder for each game. It's a fairly quick and easy process. PB updates are released all the time, even for old games that still use PB. If the game is in the listing, most likely an update is available.

Have you read a single post on this thread ?

PunkBuster dropped support for FC2, you can't use their tool to update it.

Interesting, maybe you need to verify your game files.

I used the files provided in the link I posted, and I was able to connect/play on a ranked match without issue.

Ubi no longer has a contract with PB, so PB support has been dropped. Far Cry 2 no longer appears in the drop down list of pbsetup, that is why some of us are providing the last file update for FC2.

FarCry2 is not listed anywhere under the pb list, so how did you update it ?
