Work with a single core CPU ?

I wonder if the game works with a single core CPU, even if a Core Duo is a minimum requirement.

It may with a faster 3 ghz one and up, but I would not guarantee that since there are so many calculations that need to be done for all those particles.

It is too bad there is no demo since there is one for the Xbox live version.
