Ultra hard decision: Civ IV Complete or NWN2 Platinum
At first, do not hate me for make this thread. I am thinking on these two games and don't know what to buy yet. What should I buy and why?
I will explain the situation with Civilization. I really liked(loved) Civilization V and started to playing a lot since the day of the release. But I had a problem: crashes to desktop. The most modern era I reached was the Renaissance. I got tired of trying, then I stopped playing until the game was updated and the problems solved. The question is: Should I get Civilization IV Complete, play it and wait until Civ V is completely fixed, or it is time to try again Civ V? If I do not buy Civilization IV Complete, then I should buy Neverwinter Nights 2 Platinum. |

Civ IV is very different from Civ V. Personally I liked Civ IV better than Civ V.
Back to the original question: I guess it really depends on what kind of games you like better. Civ IV = strategy. NWN2 = RPG. Can't go wrong with either |

I'd buy CivIV but I can't give you an accurate opinion on NWN2 because part of the game is screwed up for me. CivIV is an excellent game and for the few coins you'll pay for it, you'll receive far more than the $1/hour value rule. Warning, CivIV involves far more micromanagement than CiV and the stacks of doom can be devestating if you aren't prepared.

Apparently from a few people I know, they have said NWN2 isn't as good as the first 1, and not as good as they were expecting either.

I'm not good at RTS games but Civ is turn-based Strategy and I loved it. Of course I'm talking about Civ V.

Well to be honest, I absolutely LOVED Civilization V, and don't know how different it is from IV, but it can't really be too bad in comparison. I played NWN2 and didn't like it quite as much.

I'd say Civ IV as I bought it and I don't really like RPGs so it was kind of biased. But to balance it a little I'm not that fond of RTS' either but it looked fun so I snatched it. =P

i really like both but such different games to judge against each other.
although if you just have the cash for one my vote goes for Civ4 with over 500+ hours on that game as well as its mod Fall from heaven. I really enjoy NWN2 as well and have started playing again.....both games have bang for the buck. |

I would go with Civ IV complete.
It has a whopping 75% discount which is hard to come by. |

NWN2 is a good, though very niche game and not user friendly at all. Unless you are a d&d crpg enthusiast, go for Civ4.
