Question about the Chopper Gunner and Attack Dogs combination

Say you call in your dogs and then use your gunner so they're simultaneously in action: can your chaingun spam kill the dogs?

If so, why do people like this combination? Don't you kill off half of the dogs by the time they actually get to an enemy?

I have never been able to kill my own dog kill streak.

That is indeed the question:

Can you kill your own attack dogs using the chaingun, or are they invulnerable to it? If so, then it definitely makes sense to use them together...

You shouldn't be sending them both out at the same time anyway. To maximize the amount of kills you get, wait until the dogs are gone, or at least as long as you can wait before you need to use the gunner.

Basically the chopper gunner will overtake the dogs, and most of the time you'll pretty much be stealing kills away from your dogs. just let them do their thing, then just before the dog killstreak is over/right after it's over, call in your chopper.

Its more about how lots of people are either going to wall-up indoors (your dogs will hunt them down) or they will be aiming in the air, trying to take you down (your dogs will jump while they aren't looking). Its from the methodology that if you attack from two places at once, the attack will be much more effective.

Dogs-chopper gunner is more effective than gunship-chopper gunner, most of the time when I'm in either one of those, all the red boxes are indoors, I switched gunship to dogs and it kind of makes you laugh half the time when you activate chopper gunners and even when everyone's hiding in doors you're still racking up kills.

Initially it's 4 dogs and 4 more comes out when the first group are killed.
