Nothing happens

Sigh, all I wanted was a recent/modern city building game and this doesn't seem to work.

I've had the game open before and played a tiny bit to make sure it was working, BUT, ever since I downloaded "City Editor" the game doesn't load. Neither loads. I click Play or open the .exe file from the folder and nothing happens - no screen appears or anything. Yet, the counter for how long you've played a game keeps ticking, like the game is actually opened - it's just invisible to me.

Has anyone experienced this?

Yep. Opened the Task Manager, killed the process, started it again. Had to wait over a minute for it to start up again, but it worked.
