please help. random fps drops?

hey, lately iv been getting these random fps drops. i will the play the game fine with no lag on high settings and then randomly my fps will drop to like 10-20 and its really annoying. And when it happens it usually stays like that until i restart the game. i just wanna play with no problems. so if anyone has had this problem or knows what to do please help me. thanks.

you should post your PC spec first...

Welcome to the club. The latest patch started this. A lot of people having the same issue in this thread: http://forums.electronicarts.co.uk/b...after-r10.html. Just so you know, I found Vista runs this game much smoother than Win7. Also, if you've set the RenderAheadLimit thing to 1 or 0, that'll make the slowdowns worse as well.
