Monday Night Combat Launch Date Change
We've decided to change the launch date from January 17th to a week later on January 24th. We'd like to have a solid launch with more bug fixes and more time to polish as well as add some new content. The BETA will continue until we launch.

I am in full support of this. Even though fantastic progress has been made - I have noticed no stability issues since the last patch - I agree there a still a few bugs that need to be cleared up. I was a little worried that you guys would be unprepared, and after seeing the ridiculous comments from some people in the past few days over the state of a BETA, you are wise to give yourselves a little more time.
Good luck to you! |

Does this also delay the special guest that was coming?

I'm a little sad to hear about the delay... but smoothing out all the little issues is a good reason.
![]() (And having another week before the stat wipe is cool too. I get to enjoy my only-partially-deserved Uber Streak a little longer! )

If you want people to purchase your game, do a TF2 hat promotion, it never fails.

Retention > Sales.
Less people buy the next game = less money = less games. |

Great news then, I was going to ask here as well if you'd delay the game if there were any problems in the beta you'd yet to resolve. Good that you're willing to do that. :P

Thank you for delaying the release so that you actually have time for a good release.
![]() Its much better to see a game that makes substantial changes in beta rather than see a long list of bugs from the "beta demo" in the retail copy two weeks later (UT3). I would recommend adding some means of testing the compression, redirection for custom content, UT3 botched that on release and I don't want a repeat of that. Oh and webadmin .
