Boycott EvenBalance Products?

Anyone else intending to boycott all EvenBalance (Punkbuster company) products? I know for a fact I won't be buying BC3 if it uses PB, nor will I buy any Punkbuster game.

Nope, because PB auto-kicks anyone with my hardware (NVIDIA Optimus) and they specifically said they NEVER intend to fix it. Nice try though. Frankly I'm surprised you even care. From my impression everyone hates them anyway.

I don't really like PB... but the new version used in for example in BC2 has always worked perfectly for me and is not as anal about game overlays, which would ALWAYS kick me in 2142, CoD4 and those games. No boycotting here.

Never had any trouble out of punkbuster and I get the impression it does a much better job than VAC based on what I hear about the CoD series.

Urm, nope.

Yes, I dislike Punkbuster.
Yes, I would prefer VAC so I won't get kicked for overlays anymore.
No, it is not that bad that I will miss out on a good game for it.

However, it will mean that I won't buy the game on release, only later during sale like I did with BC2.

It was annoying when I had to turn on Punkbuster back in the days of CS, but for now, since it's integrated into the game, one anti-cheat is just the same as another imo.
