I've been getting this error lately, across a number of maps and servers.

Specifications:

Intel Core i5 @ 320GHz
NVidia Geforce 9800 GT
4GB RAM

Did you try the FAQ pages on Steam Support?
https://support.steampowered.com/kb_...vertex+buffer+

This is more than a year old. :O

It would of probably been better if you had made your own thread.

Have steam verify your data files, as chances are you have a corrupt model file that is causing the mesh system to not be happy.

I believe I just found one possible cause/solution to this.

I was changing around some settings in my nvidia control panel, and turned FXAA on. Upon doing this, TF2 would no longer launch past the intro video, and after long enough, crashed with this error. Turning FXAA off immediately fixed it. Hope this helps.

Maybe you should have steam verify your game files. I'm not sure, but it might be a corrupt model file or something. The mesh system can get screwed up over that.

Good Luck!
