medic system?
Will there be a medic system (a la AA3 or some other kind)? Will we be able to heal our teammates? Will there be a way to replenish health other than by dying and respawning? Will there be, heaven forbid, regenerating health?

There is no regenerating health, there are no medics (they tended to be shot on sight on the eastern front, even ones that were not armed).
What we do feature is some shots to non vital areas will start the player bleeding. The player has limited time to bandage that wound to prevent a bleedout. Last edited by Yoshiro: 01-23-2011 at 08:59 AM. |

If limbs are removed, the player is considered dead. We treat any wound that would take the player out of combat as a death.

you should make it like Far Cry 2; some of those healing animations were visceral! Especially the ones where he pulls shrapnel out of his body or pops his bones back into place (CRUNCH!!!)

I think many people misunderstood the dev's perpose. RO is meant to be as close to mil-sim as possible while not making controlling too hard. In real war there is no health-regeneration ♥♥♥♥, and medic are supposed to patch you up, not to heal you.. You got wonded and you get off the battle line and wait for medevac.

Just an idea
What if wounded player couldn't bandage himself but it would always require a teammate to patch him up? I think it would be more realistic and maybe encourage players to teamplay and to stick together. Lone wolves would be in big trouble...
