hey i redownloaded the game and weird music is poping up

The Steam version shouldn't do that, but check your CD drive, as Solarmech said.

It's your CD drive. Remove disk, enjoy half life music from the game. For whatever stupid reason, it does that frequently enough that we DO get this question a LOT.

Remove the Reggaeton disc

Let your Steam version play the game music.

or

If you have the old WON version, put the Half-Life disc into the drive.

Well, I've had the same thing happened to me... and only with the Steam version. Yet again, it was with Blue Shift and Opposing Force, not sure if it does the same in HL(S).

Funny thing is, sometimes the music on the CD kinda fits the game, but sometimes, it really doesn't... like some sort of piano tune from a film soundtrack while on Xen... talk about weird

But yeah, about the music, just remove any CD from oyur CD/DVD drive, and you should get the actual music back.
