Shuttering Fix here!

Shuttering is caused by lack of Triple Buffering. And D3D Overrider helps in this case - just manually add Magicka.exe as a new profile.

D3D Overrider is included in Riva Tuner, but You can download it separately from here

P.S.
1) Set Vsync as "Application Controlled" in CCC/NCP.
2) D3D Overrider should be turned on while running the game.

Didn't work for me, at least not in the demo.

I think you're on the right track, though. I think the in game vsync is causing the stuttering. Wish I could turn that off somehow.

To get D3D Overrider work properly, Vsync should be "Application Controlled" in Catalyst Control Center / Nvidia Control Panel.

I can confirm that forcing the triple buffering with this program fixes the unpleasant stuttering, thank you for the solution.

Hopefully it will be simple to fix, and probably will be in the next patch

Mad props to this thread, enabling triple buffering via ATI Catalyst Control Center also works!

Huge props here. I used the Nvidia control panel to do the same.

PLUS, messing with AA and other settings can give you a nice performance boost as well.

So it something visible supposed to happen when you run it? A process starts up but nothing else. Tried kompatability mode and running as admin without any change. Win 7 64-bit

Okay, this time I got a BSOD.

I do not have the latest drivers, as newer drivers cause problems with many games. right now this is the only game that causes issues, so I'll continue to not play it, I guess...
