"Wizard's Survival Kit" DLC Question

I might not be able to purchase Magicka until January 31st. After that date, how can I have the DLC?

You...can't. Because its a bonus for people who buy before January 31st. What part don't you follow? I suppose there's a slim chance they'll release it for a price, but its really not worth spending money on for what you get.

Where i can see the DLC? I purchased it yesterday, but i dont see the items...

let me quote myself:

you'll get the hat and stuff when you click on one of the arrows in the character selection screen (where you change the look of your character, like the robe color)... with the DLC you should be able to select either a character with a robe only or one with a hat on top...

well, then something goes wrong, cause i got nothing :s

in steam -> games library -> right-click on magicka and select "view downloadable content"
you should see 2 entries there... if not then something is wrong.

thats probally an offer for 10:00 am PST so if you live in UK or europe you have a few extra hours because the offer wont end till 5-6 your time

Hm. When I check the DLC list, it only lists the Wizard's hat. But I should also have the sword and staff and such, right? Something here isn't right.

The cosmetic costume stuff isn't an issue, but do you have to buy before Jan 31st to get one of the spells? Or, is it just an early unlock for that spell (You get it at the start of the game instead of later)?

Spell isn't really useful.

you have all the stuff,if you can switch to the wizard with hat, you get the sharp sword and the +1 staff when you begin playing and meteour you get when you finish the tutorial

it IS right.. one DLC and one spell... the listed DLC contains the sword and staff as well!

here is a screenshot which shows how it looks like... the arrows to change the character look appear when you move the mouse over the character...

Mine says the same, but I do in fact have all 3 items in the DLC.

Just to reaffirm, when you are creating your character, you can hover over the colours and Left/Right arrows should appear. For those with the DLC, if you hover over the character itself, left/right arrows should appear either side of that as well, which allow you to select the DLC items.

Finally, I should mention, these DLC items as far as I can tell are fairly useless. In fact the only one you'll probably make good use of is the hat, simply because there is nothing to replace it with, unless Magicka turns into TF2 II.
