PSP 2 Revealed: 5" OLED, 2 Sticks, 3G/WiFi, Cameras, Games(?)

It has finally been revealed. Coming this holiday season, Sony's contender to challenge the 3DS

Looks like the original PSP, not the crap PSP-Go. Also, Sony has ditched UMD for some memory card that looks like a SD Card, but has differences that point to another proprietary format of Sony.

Spec wise, it seems good but so did the original PSP and the main fault of PSP was that its game library was really weak which resulted in the DS stomping over it.

The launch titles seem to be Killzone and Uncharted type games, hopefully they will be good.

yeah I wonder how much it will cost, it seems like its gonna be expensive...

I will be amazed however if it costs more than a PS3

NGP is just its code name atm

sounds worse than PSP 2 imo

wow 5" 960x544 OLED. Thats impressive. The 3G and GPS is cool, not sure about that rear touch surface though.

I assumed that was the name. I guess it's all just speculation right now. Who knows.

Also, this Near application being discussed is freaking me out. Sounds very awesome!

Any bets on price? I think 299.99, and games will be 49.99 since they can market these games as "NEAR PS3 QUALITY"

I'll go with $300. The 3DS is $250 and I can't imagine them being priced the same. Or even close. So maybe even $350...

$350 is really expensive for a portable gaming device...I don't know if it will sell that well, even if its specs are better than the competition

Another great feature is that it will have backwards compatibility with PSP1 games.

I don't think it will sell well at all outside of Japan.
