Worth it at $2?

Easily worth the $2. I don't think it's as good as Titan Quest, but it's definitely fun of the same sort.

I bought it last time at $2.00, you can read my review if you scroll through these forums. (it's a little random and doesn't make a ton of sense though, lol) Tried to do a good video review (there isn't any good ones, at least I didn't find) But none of my recorders worked with it.

If you download the demo just remember to not take too much of it in, I kept dying aand had no idea how to do anything and hated it. But loved the game once I started from the beginning.

Well, its a fine game, it just happens to be plagued with a couple bugs... some of which are really bad. If you never experience the bugs, its a great game for $2 but if you do... well... broken isn't worth any sum of money.

i bought it last time it was $2 and i would say it's not even in the same league as titans quest or magicka,,, it's worse then avencast.

it's not worth more then $2 in my mind.

This game is more than worth the sale price. Just give it time and the further you get into it, the better. I have Avencast aswell, and even though I gave that game a few hours, it is nowhere near the quality of Numen. $2 is a ridiculous price, even if the game does have cause to make you think before you bug yourself (which I hear is now fixed, but only needed some common sense to get past in the first place).

IMO, no this game is not worth $2 because it's not even worth the time you spend playing it. I wouldn't play it for free.

Even if it weren't for the gamebreaking bugs, it's just horrible in general.

It's basically an MMO without the MMO. If you want "grind, rinse, repeat" quests over and over again, without the whole social interaction and progress part that MMO's give you, by all means go for it.

But make no mistake, that's all this game has to offer. "Kill random mob X 10,000 times until you collect 10 item Y's, which drop once every 100 kills, then return to me". That's all there is here....over and over and over again.

There are legitimate reasons MMO have to be filled with these kinds of quests. There is no such excuse for similar game design in a single player game.

I would not give this game another chance if you PAID ME anything less than $200 for my effort. It's literally less fun than not playing a game at all and just watching TV or something instead.

You will never get back the hours you spend trying to find the game inside this shell. Don't say nobody warned you.

Well, you convinced me. I've also kept dying in demo, but demo itself ran flawlessly and looked very nice. Downloading game now. $2 is a very small price after all.

It's alright, I would say it's worth 2 bucks. Not the full price tag but 2 bucks yeah.

Reviews were alright mostly, which is why I picked it up during the last 2 dollar sale. If they patched it fully it would be a no brainer.

It is most certainly worth it. I actually started playing it yesterday before the deal went up so I am glad to see it on sale again, maybe I will give a friend a copy. The game runs well, has some good dialogue, and plays out with some decent combat.

I would say the only minor annoyance has been where at one point I needed to rest twice to get enemies to respawn twice so I could collect more pelts. That is not too much to complain about considering it only took a few extra minutes.

I like also that you get some choice in matters. I have chosen to follow Athena.

If you are expecting a AAA title, of course you will not find one. This is not an Elder Scrolls game. If you are looking for a good romp with some surprisingly good dialogue, then by all means buy it.
