How to make Steam not lag

How can I make steam not lag? Whenever I go on steam I lag kind of and whenever I want to play my games it lags alot such as CSS. Does anyone know how I can speeed up my computer up or make steam and my games faster with no lag

That is for real. If your computer is crap, there is nothing you can do to make it not lag other than get a new one.

And I'm assuming it's crap since you haven't given any details about your computer or its specs, which would lead me to believe you're computer illiterate (the fact you're even asking this confirms it), so you most likely wouldn't have shelled out a few thousand to build yourself a custom computer.

Also, you have to realize there is a major language/skill barrier here, it is really hard to help you.

Open the console and type net_graph 3 this puts a on screen display of you network and frame per sec when you get lag check this out and make sure your fps is not dropping causing you to lag can't think of other commands but they are like cl_update 101 and rate 30000 type them in see what happens what are your pc spec and broadband speed with upload speed you can also try WWW.speedtest.net and WWW.pingtest.net post you results are you playing on servers that are near you low ping

Ok just got your pc spec dual core 2.2 and 250 NVIDIA gfx card which is fine
