FIXES:
- Precious maps quest not given prematurely any more
- descriptions of Shadow Curse corrected
- you cannot autosave your position when in spider form now

Well, it's not a big update, but it will help you not to get into troubles with the Precious maps quest issue. But, if you already got this quest, this patch won't help you and we can't fix your corrupted save file either. If you don't have a save from before entering that door and receiving that quest, I'm afraid that you will have to start over again.

About the third fix from above: When playing the previous version 1.30, you found out that there is a bug when you use the autosave feature in the spider form. We tried to fix it, but it brought up too many new problems that we decided to disable the autosave feature while in the spider form in the end. But the line saying "Your progress will be saved." remained in the game, even though it's not true in this particular moment.

There is still one bigger bug remaining in the game - a competing hero won't come to the Arena to fight for the Minotaur's horns, but I was told this bug would need more time too fix and require too much testing now, which is why it's still in there.

Logic on SPUF, are you new?

Valve is in the US, the date format is month/day/year.

And the rest of the world use day/month/year format =). I cant see how someone could think that a sale will persist for 3 months... But you have a point anyways.

Yes, we get it, the U.S. sucks, everyone hates us all and everything we do, etc, etc.

I am just suggesting clarification for others so the forums won't be filled with people complaining that they thought they had till April.

To avoid confusedness they could implement sale countdown feature like GamersGate has: "Offer expires in... X days and Y hours"

And international ISO standard says the date should be in YYYY-MM-DD format

I just wanted to say that I was undecided on whether or not I was going to buy this game, but the developer interaction on this forum convinced me to do it.

To clear the confusion, the sale ends this Friday.

And by that "Oh, and I'm supposed to say" I meant that I got the "sale is on through 4/2 10am PST" part via ICQ and just copied it over withough giving it a second thought.

What are you trying to achieve by this comment? I don't quite get it. He was stating that he thought the "Day - month - year" system seemed logical. That being smallest to biggest. Do you disagree with his logic?

0xDEADC0DE: Well, yes, that bug isn't in the game any more, but I don't think that we can call it a fix.

We tried to fix it three times and it was still bringing new problems along (have you ever seen a spider with armor on? It was creepy a bit...), so given the limited time we had to prepare this patch, we had to resort to this solution...
