Even though some might find it sad, I, myself, am quite irked by the horrendous mosaic that surrounds my Sim when he showers, or otherwise gets naked. So lets just leave the choice up to the players to what they prefer instead of commenting sad comments containing little more then sadness.

You might try this link. It goes to one of the better Wiki sites for Sims 3 (for as far as I know).

Indeed the blur is very irritating.

I guess what were posted works with the retail version but seems that the file structure in the steam version is somewhat different. None of the instruction that I find works so far....

anyone any idea ? How to remove this on the steam version ?

Cheers

Here's a link for the removing of the censor in The Sims 3.

http://www.pandorasims.net/snp3_dload.html

First download the "Startup Kit", you muse carefully read the directions in the provided readme.

Second download the "Nude Patch", the read the directions that is provided in there aswell.

If done correctly the blur will be removed from the Sims while in game. It worked for mine and mine is the Steam version.

HI

did not work, cannot even start the game.
check all the step carefully again, it just did not work

Did the "startup Kit" and put it into Document/EA/the sims3/....

Did the Nude patch and out it into Program files(x86)/Steam/Steam Apps/Common/the sim3/game/bin/

Help if I did anything wrong...appreciate it

Cheers

Twallan's censor remover works with all versions and doesn't require replacing files. http://www.the-isz.com/nraas/index.php?board=4.0

Are they .package files? That's what I ended up using.

Here is the guide I used to get all of my mods installed.
